New Tavern + Dark Matter!

We've been so busy working on some really awesome stuff the last few months, we've dropped the ball on YouTube again. I think we deserve some nice, refreshing drinks on the Tavern!

Dark Matter

For those of you who are Patreon supporters (thank you so much!), you may have seen our new science-fantasy campaign setting, Dark Matter. For you non-patrons, Dark Matter is a high-tech, galaxy-spanning setting where magic has advanced to the point where it is used to power enormous magitech spaceships, blasters, and androids. It has a huge variety of new subclass options including subclasses for our Witch and Gunslinger base classes, 4 awesome new races, rules for ship combat and customization, and much more, with some truly breathtaking art by our good friend Martin Kirby.
This is our single most ambitious project yet, and we are about to re-release it with a massive lore chapter that nearly doubles the book's size. If you're on the fence about becoming a patron, now is the perfect time to do so, because this setting seriously kicks some major ass.

  1. "Chainmail Bikini". LOL.

Starfinder kind of made me want to run a sci-fi campaign, but I prefer 5th edition, so Dark Matter would be perfect for me (if I can get my friends on board). Thanx!

    1. This is where I'm at too:) Super excited to see the lore segment added.

    2. I am currently running a Starfinder game myself.

Starfinder is good, really good, and if you bought the book you should give it a play.

That said, it is a different animal than Dark Matter. It is a whole new game. You cannot take classes from Pathfinder and port them directly over, it will not work out well, so it takes a lot of reading on your player's parts to actually start to play.

Dark Matter, OTOH, is an expansion of 5e, and so players can jump right in without reading much of anything and be okay.

  2. Chain mail bikini i smell a sequel of silly magic items or if that fails i need some stats my crftsman is making some
