Monster
Comments from the Finger: Bonus post! Perhaps the silliest thing I've ever written, this was created as a villain for Encounter Roleplay's recent Die Hard session, wherein which George Clooney is the chief antagonist. This really requires no further introduction:
Clooney Badgermancer
No man living should be more feared than Clooney, the Badgermancer. If his devilish good looks and bountiful charisma do not first disarm you, then his ever-handy badger minions will tear you to shreds.
I apologize in advance for bringing this into the world.
ReplyDeleteThis is epic in its craziness

DeleteUmm... What?
ReplyDeleteApparently, George Clooney is a recurring villain in their games, and he always comes accompanied with a form of badger-related powers.
DeleteI'm not sure you read comments about previous articles, so I'll put it here too (about Asklepios):
ReplyDeleteDoctor's orders seem simply too good. Compare it to bardic inspiration: Bardic inspiration can also be to a save or ability check, and can be used when you know it's needed, but Doc's Orders add to both attack and damage, and are unlimited in use.
At the very least, I think doctor's orders need to be downed to 1d4 to make sure it doesn't outshine a bard in buffing.
At least for the Rebinding articles, I've been pretty good about responding to comments, though it does normally take me a day or two to respond. I've replied to this comment in the relevant article, but the tl;dr is that you might be right, but I'm not totally convinced it's overpowered.
